A sitting room in a London apartment. The Art Deco construction is complimented by the cool blue-green of the base coat and drifting, fanciful flowers inspired by an anteroom in the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam.

The c. 65 sq m of wall space was treated with a single-colour base coat in emulsion paint – the trim delineated (also with emulsion) – over which in acrylic are painted long stalks with bright, whimsical blooms.
